Javier Bardem Looking to Climb Stephen King's Dark Tower

It's great to see a Stephen King property getting so much attention in tinsel town! There's no doubt Ron Howard's adaptation of King's epic horror/fantasy/western seriesDark Toweris on everyone's lips, and the list of potential stars is growing faster than anyone could have expected!

The Dark TowerAccording toThe New York Post, in addition to names like Daniel Craig, Hugh Jackman, Jon Hamm, and Viggo Mortensen, you can also add Javier Bardem to the list of folks being looked at to play the tale's lead character, Roland Deschain.

Darren Bousman's 11 11 11 Blog - The Horror Continues

Director Darren Lynn Bousman is having a devil of a time working on his latest film,11 11 11, and today he's updated his official blog with more strange and well ... strange tales from the production.

"I finished the first draft of 11 11 11 without losing my mind– though at times I stepped into some very dark places… But my curiosity ended on the Web,"says Bousman in hislatest blog entry."Once I closed my computer and shut off the Internet I was transported back into the SANE NORMAL world in which I lived… My wife… My dog… Seinfeld."He continues,"Cut to today. Never in a million years would I have imagined that coming to Spain would bring me one step closer to the horrors I had read about online".

Synopsis

If you're at all familiar with the short films of filmmaker Calvin Reeder (Little Farm, The Rambler, Snake Mountain Colada), then you already know that when it comes to being disturbing, few out there do it better.

Synopsis
There is a place. A place where the skies are wide and the forests are thick--and strange. You can lose yourself forever in these woods. Spend some time with a woman from Oregon who is lost on the road and running away from her past. R-Squared Films to Show Us Where the Dogs Divide Her

You know who hasn't taken a break for the holidays? All the indie filmmakers out there trying to get noticed, and god love them for it! Sit back, dearest reader, and get ready to delve a bit deeper into the mystery ofWhere the Dogs Divide Her.

R Squared Filmshave scored themselves the distro rights for the Martin Rutley film. Dig on the plot crunch and the trailer below.

Synopsis
As an unborn child dreams, a nameless stranger sits in a bathroom, his hands bloodied and trembling as he ponders a double murder he has no memory of committing.

This man has no memory or known identity and in his efforts to find his true self, he is split in three separate components (three aspects of amnesia) and slowly unearths a horrifying family secret surrounding the unsolved violent deaths of his parents But before the he can come to terms with his crimes and escape this prison of the mind, first the killer must make contact with ghosts from a long-forgotten past - shadowy souls whose only purpose is to lure others into their hellish trap.

Where The Dogs Divide Her explores varied themes: nostalgia, loss of identity, and the ongoing psychological-war between desire and reason.
