"Ghost Whisperer"star Jennifer Love Hewitt is ready to transition from whispering to directing specters. That's right, kids ... the chick who knew what we did last summer is going to be spending the next one behind the camera!

According toVarietyHewitt will be directing an adaptation of the novelWait Till Helen Comesby Mary Downing Hahn. Sanchez Mandryk penned the script which tells of a Baltimore family that moves into a house that was once a church. The eldest daughter comes into contact with the ghost of a young girl who might be a danger to the family.

Yeah, moving into a church? Probably not the best of ideas. Shooting is expected to begin this summer. Stay tuned for more as it comes.
